Vishal Dadlani was born on 28 June 1973. He started his music career as a vocalist in a mumbai based band named Pentagram. Shekhar and Vishal both gain when they came up with the first music hit of their career with the album Jhankar Beats which had a fabulous composition “Tu Aashiqui Hai”. This song even won them the Filmfare RD Burman award for new talents emerging in India.
Vishal and Shekhar were judges on the musical reality show- Amul Star Voice Of India Mummy Ki Superstars, and mentors and judges on music reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Zee TV. They have composed title track for Star Plus daily series Navya and Piya Re Bhavri. They have also composed the IPL theme song of season 3 and Anthem of Kolkata Knight Riders. Apart for his work in music industry he has done cameo roles in movies like Om Shanti Om and Tees Maar Khan.
On 15 February 2012, Vishal and Shekhar performed at Crossroads 2012 in SRCC. Vishal-Shekhar composed the IPL 6 anthem “Jumping Japaang” and the IPL 7 anthem “Chalo Bulawa Aya Hai”. Quite popular, Vishal Dadlani has created quite a buzz with their music compositions and different style of Bollywood music.
Acknowledged for his versatility, he has been worked not only in Hindi music industry but also lend his voice and compositions to various Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Marathi films.
