John Cena Biography; He was born on April 23, 1977 in West Newbury, Massachusetts and his born name is John Felix Anthony Cena.  After graduating from high school, he joined the Springfield College in Massachusetts to study exercise physiology. Cena got his start in wrestling career in 1999 from a California based wrestling school and company where he was given the name “The Prototype”. A year later, he was signed by WWE then-developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling.

Cena achieved the OVW heavyweight title in February 2002, and then just two years later, he took home the United States Championship, defeating The Big Show in Wrestlemania XX. In the years since, Cena has got many titles and also his have sculpted body have earned him the title “The Marky Mark of Wrestling”.

He performed the WWE theme song “Basic Thugonomics,” which was featured on WWE Originals, the WWE soundtrack album.
