New York City based Jennifer Lopez was born on July 24, 1970. Her father, David Lopez is a computer specialist at Guardian Insurance, and her mother, Guadalupe used to teach kindergarten in Westchester County, New York. Her elder sister, Leslie is a housewife and opera singer, and her younger sister Lynda is a DJ on New York’s WKTU, a VH1 VJ and a morning news show correspondent on New York’s Channel 11. Jennifer’s interest in singing and dancing surfaced at an early age.

Lopez was born July 24, 1969, in the Bronx, New York. She continued to practice dance and singing from an early age. She has also appeared in stage musicals and various music videos in her childhood. She made her TV debut in 1990 when she was cast as one of the “Fly Girls,” dancers who appeared on the popular Fox comedy television series, “In Living Color”.
