Rangoon is an upcoming Hindi period romance drama film, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The project is a period film set during world war two. It stars Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor, and Kangana Ranaut in lead roles.
Kangana debuts her acting career in 2006 with thriller movie Gangster for which she was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. She has performed in some good movie like Woh Lamhe (2006), Life in a Metro (2007) and Fashion (2008). She also featured in some blockbuster movies like Tanu Weds Manu & Krrish 3 is one of the highest grossing Bollywood movies. In 2015 she did Tanu Weds Manu Returns and for this movie she won Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress. She won several awards, including two National Film Awards and Filmfare Awards in four categories.
