Telenor/Uninor Internet Settings

Telenor/Uninor is an Indian mobile network operator. User need to have a look below at the steps to access free Uninor 2G GPRS internet setting for your Uninor mobile phones. Telenor/Uninor customers can get the APN setting for mobile by sending an SMS. Some of the users are unable to receive this setting or their handset is not supporting automatic GPRS configuration, so you need to manually enter the Access Point settings and then activate the Access Point. TO activate 2G GPRS in your Uninor mobile, follow the steps given below:

  • Type a text SMS “ALL”
  • Send it to 58355 Number.
  • Within some minutes Server sends you GPRS Setting for your Mobile.
  • Save this setting as default settings.
  • Now Restart your mobile phone and start enjoying 2G Internet service.

But Sometimes, Service providers are unable to deliver settings in users mobile, so in this situation you need to set APN setting manually. You can set Internet APN Settings Telenor in 2G connection as given below.

1.) For manual configuration of GPRS settings, navigate to Menu > Settings> Wireless and Networks> Mobile Networks> Access Point Names (APN)> New /Edit.

For adding new APN setting, go to setting option of your mobile and select “New APN”, or you may even edit the existing APN by selecting edit.

2.) You need to make changes in some fields by editing access point. Options and its following value of four fields i.e Name, APN, Authentication Type and APN Type has to be filled as follows:

a.) Name: Uninor

b.) APN: uninor

c.) Authentication type: None

d.) APN type: internet

3.) Enter MCC and MNC code according to your network area and country from list provided below.
