The purpose of a new common app is to provide uniform experience of UPI and also to support those banks that have not developed any UPI app for their customers as yet. As far as feature phone is concerned, no application is necessary.”

  • BHIM app will help you in sending and receiving money to bank accounts and anyone with a working phone and a bank account linked to that phone number can use this app.
  • The main advantage of this app is that anyone without a smartphone or an Internet connection can use this app to make payments. You just have to dial *99# mobile banking service number from your mobile phones and get your transaction done.
  • BHIM app is incredibly convenient to use just you have to first verify it by using an OTP.
  • There is a limit of Rs. 10,000 per transaction and Rs. 20,000 per day for BHIM users. If you want to do larger transactions then you have to use your credit or debit card, or IFSC or another form of net banking.

# For further services you must be registered with your bank with the verified mobile number. If you are registered it will verify your phone number and bank details and a sub menu will be displayed on screen.

# There will be many options like check account balance, mini statement, send money using MMID or IFSC, or change the default bank pin. Check the option you want to choose and type the number beside it in the below given box and tap send.

For Sending Money Choose From Option 3 Or 4 And Tap On Send.

# Av pop up window will be appear there you have to enter beneficiary mobile 10 digits number after doing that hit the send button

# From new window enter beneficiary MMID, which you will have to get from the person you are sending money to.

# Next you have to enter the amount and remarks with a single space.

# This is the Final step in which you have to enter MPIN to authorize the transaction and last 4 digits number separated by space and hit on Send. The money will be credited instantly in the recipients account. As said by Reserve Bank Of India (RBI), the USSD payment method can be used for sending money from Rs 1 to Rs 5000 per transaction.

# Per transaction charges will be Rs 0.50 which will be added in the bill of your mobile. The transaction charges will be going to apply after December 31st.
